The "Rockpile" approaching Myrtle Beach is a narrow and rocky section with very little room to pass other vessels. It is recommended that you radio ahead to be sure you don't meet any large vessels or barges there.
Barefoot Landing used to be a free dock for up to three days. This is no longer true. You can still dock there to shop however.
