Oriental North Carolina is a beautiful, quaint little village on the banks of the Neuse river. There are approximately three boats per person. It's the kind of place where dogs run free and people feel safe without locks and bars. It is a rarity in this age of high tech deceit to find a place that takes you back to days when life was simpler and kinder. We find it hard to leave. Oriental links:
