Here is some info of interest. Dafuskie Landing is a public dock with deep water. It can easily accomadate 40 ft. boats. I has a floating dock. Use lots of bumpers as the tide rolls here. (Three hour docking) There is a store, Post Office, Restuarant and Bar here. (Marshside Mama's) You won't find that for a looooong ways in either direction. There is an anchorage directly accross the way in the New River.
